Lawrence Kearns Pottery began in 1994 after the construction of a 47 cubic gas salt kiln. I had been involved with making wheel thrown handcrafted stoneware pottery for 30 years; however, in 1994 I made a commitment to my craft. My studio is located south of Oxford, Oh. Along Indian Creek. My work is set apart by its unique craftsmanship and the use of glaze combinations. Each piece goes thru many steps before the finished product. All of my stoneware pottery is high fired to 2350 degrees. I use lead free glaze formulas and all the pottery is food, dishwasher, oven and microwave safe.
